Happy Chinese new year!! My first post in 2011.

i always believe that if you don't step on someone, no one will step on you.
perhaps i was wrong.
reality shows that, if you don't step on someone, the more people would want to step on you.
self reflection time!
do you realise why there are no secrets in this world?
where's that basic theory of trust?
people are self-centered, selfish anmials. (i am kind of self-centered at times i admit)
and 90% of the time (even if they understand this theory) they think only for themselves.
This is not wrong.
What is wrong is that people likes to feed each other info in exchange for social status in the group.
But have u thot of how those untrue claims can hurt someone?
Indirectly hurting someone is a loser thing to do.
No matter wad, i still believe that if ppl entrust u with their stuff, pls have the responsibility to keep it to urself. (esp when u have promised someone not to tell)
Even if it indirectly becomes your own problem, as long as it invades another parties privacy, i believe one should not tell tales too.
So, pls think for others first before u spout any nonsense by ur own interpretation to others.

2 more days of being 22.
Age is catching up.
Every yr, one of the most happening month would be August, as August is most of my gfs birthday.
Celebrations are almost a weekly thing!
However as the day approaches, I cant help but felt a tinge of sadness.
Those days when we felt excited bout birthday was left behind to when we were a kid.
The presents, celebrations and atmosphere was what a kid anticipates the most.
I rmb my sis and I were such demanding kids. We wanted almost everything what other kid has.
And none of them were rejected.
Probably so, that we did not realise how tough times might be at times.
I realised we were fortunate.
I supposed, that meant to say, we've aged..how sad.
Guess this is just PBS (pre-birthday stress) from a 22 years and 363 days adult.

Hello folks, HAPPY 2010!

New year, marking the start of yet another 12 months.

oh wait...are u sure its a happy one?

6 days past the new year, work had started, school had started,

parties had ended but doesnt seemed like 2009 had left us.

December was packed with exams, driving, xmas outing with coussies,Noel's birthday, meeting wif chu & char and countdown party!

Speaking of which, we had a busy countdown this yr.

Sherlock holmes and Rebel were for countdown.

After which headed to Saggie's pub and we stayed till dawn!

Hols were good wif zoo outing wif fats and stp!

kangaroos, leopards and lions are <3s!!

Anyway back to 2010, have not given myself a thorough thought for my new yr resolutions!

there's so much to complete and these stuff are definitely always on the run for my money!

Halloween wasnt a huge success but still, its only our 1st halloween!
Practically got excited for only 10 to 15 mins with the usual get-high "we are golden" song.
strolling down the wet street with our halloween props on..trying to act like no one's looking at us. Without realising, it has already been transformed into one of our usual movie sessions.
The only memories left were kind of retarded.
We decided to leave it as it is: memories- just for our own viewing.
Even though its not exactly like all the pics cant be seen and those are...the Toilet PICS!!
It always the best!

Attended pretty's 21st party.
Not many 21st to attend in future anymore.

looks like september's ending!

on mc for the past 2 days and i realised its such a luxury to stay at home doing nothing

but sleep, watch tv and do nothing.

As i went opposite to grab some food aft visiting the doc yst morning, i felt a sudden urge to quit my job and stay at home, be a full time student.

Isnt this what life is for!!! ENJOY!

(okay no doubt i do feel a bit of guilt if i had really done that)

Back to the how-i-wish-im-still-16 mentality. Urgghh really HOW I WISH!!

Even now when im staying at home, the sudden trigger of undone work still makes me feel uneasy.

How can I have a good rest if all these are bothering me. So does it imply that i need a new life?

I cant be probably thinking of this each time i changed to a new environment. So the problem is still ME. October's coming, 3 more months to end of 2009. Good or bad?

Starting a new yr might be a good thing, on the flip side, the neagtive thought is that the end of a certain life span is drawing closer?

Firstly, thank u gfs for the birthday surprise on 7 aug. It was totally unexpected when we saw the supposedly to be meeting- friend- saggie loke & princess Niki, working-STP, sick-Goon and Gin at dinner. it was totally unexpected!!
Okay so we had a wonderful night at summer breeze yep literally enjoying the breeze at pasir ris with undecisive Janey friend almost screw up their plan like always. Lol

Early next morning we headed to Sentosa for our long-craved mac' breakfast before polishing on our wear-off tan and "national education" tour just the day before our nation's birthday. Had a great dinner wif Noel-Gin joining us at vivo and ended with a little shopping!
Its never too much nor too late to say thank you and once again thank u everyone for the wishes, pressies celebrations and great company!

For my gurls, vaneh's birthday was next on the list and it was a great movie outing after so long! Orphan was definitely one of the best movie of the year and siiick enough to let ur thots wander aft the show. Dinner @ Shokudo was great!! Japanese food never fail to brighten our dinner and the desserts were awesome! Its been really long since the group met up for movies and we shall do that more often! Neh, come back n plan pls!!! haha

White Rabbit was off but we blue rabbits still had great fun at ION's Italian restaurant last nite. All looking pretty in blue and plaits! I realised how much all of us had been thru tgt all these years and i hope this would stay the same as always! Neh's gf June joined us yst and I hope she had fun too. haha. STP nv failsss to amaze us each yr when her birthday cake almost fall flat onto the table. STP, gotta learn to love ur cake u noe! LOL.

wanted to update a few days ago but was simply too tired to do so!
anyway was greeted by a HUGE golden retriever this morning just when i stepped out of the lift which makes my day extraordinary happy!
work was as usually except with that added tinge of stress and nervousness as my colleague whom i will be taking over will be leaving in 2 days time. i cannnnt imagine that i will be handling all the complicated process like in 4 days time? *screamms* forget bout it!
i must admit that its been a pretty good 4 weeks of "honeymoon" period for me judging from the fact that there's nothing much for me to do and the privilege of exemptions from all sort of stuff.
i guess after so long, i'm still lacking that bit of confidence and i certainly need that more than anything else!
Furthermore, company's quite strict with all the IT security and stuff and every login to hotmail or facebook increases my risk of earning a scream from my boss. (but i still do login everyday! its a torture not to do so.) Good thing manda's there to keep me sane hahahaha.
its sad to know that we'll be turning 22 in a week's time.
Haven't been hanging out much with the girls except that one and only drag me to hell movie date and i feel a lack of pictures to update!! Will be meeting chu & char this sat and the girls next sat for some island fun!
i guess we should seriously get those good old days back at least there's something to look fwd to not like now.
21st's gone just like that without us realising how time flies!
2nd half of last year has been really really great! There's simply nothing more i could ask for. Since august with our HK trip following by all the 21st birthday celebrations and taiwan trip in december.
Im thankful for that!

We are confirm flying to BKK next march!!
2nd trip with xian and mad plus a fulfilled promise to lim jane!
xian took quite a huge effort looking for the best deal for all of us! credits to u, fat rabs!
but but but, even though i'm like dying to get on a plane and fly to somewhere else,
I'm some sort of phobic of taking plane after the 2 crashes in the same month.
A point to note : do not take unknown or ulu airlines in future.
So now, the question still goes back to --> Is Budget Safe?? (i seriously hope so!)

Okay, Its already July and i'm counting down to the days at my current job.
4 months passed in a blink! Of coz there were good and bad times there.
I wouldnt say i'm a stronger person now, but definitely I've learnt quite alot there.
Especially in excercising GREAT PATIENCE and ENDURANCE.
Anyway, I thought i would end this week on a relax and happy note BUT it hasnt been so. I've encountered both good and bad within these 2 weeks.
This is the FIRST time i've got hung up by someone on the phone for 4 consecutive times and its not like its any of my fault. Seriously tmd rude.

This year hasn't been smooth-sailing and pretty much un-fulfilling as compared to the previous. The past week has been circled around the flu, the death of the king of pop and the crash. Though i'm not a big fan, but his song has such great impact that I could still remember the tune of the song that we used to sing in one of the school occassions in pri 1 or 2. Its an all time favourite.

oh ya..attended Huiyi's 21st party on mon.
Nice time catching up with some of them but of coz, the most impt thing is to celebrate huiyi turning 21! (This also mean that i'm turning 22 soon. damn!)
Like I said, Its been a boring and draggy year with little achievements and there's practically nothing to look forward to. Probably becuz there were no trips planned!. What a way to end our 21st!!!

WE NEED A HOLIDAY!!
The girls had planned a list of to-do-list and we are supposed to complete each and every destinations that were said but not done! This is gonna be fun!!
Like the fengshui book adviced, now stepping into July, we should all just keep our mouth shut whenever possible and hope we can all tide through July safely. PLEASSSEEE let my July be good!

buahaha this is my very very first post for the entire month of June.
from the day lydia went back to hk till now she's coming back.
havent update on a single outing. this is how lazzzzy i am lately.
saggie loke, xian and i had an agreement that this month would be a frugal month, but our outings has been non-stop!
and what else? we went GSS shopping! havainas and saggie loke even bought a 32' LCD tv.
theory wasnt eventful with all the IT fairs and wastons shopping distracting us EVERY week! I shall see how we should all pass with flying colours. HAHA.
anyway, june is alwayssss colourful wif our inaugural aviva open!! omggg.

for no reason, i always feel excited for someone who's traveling.
and i simply love the airport!
its just great looking at planes taking off and landing isn't it?
it feels as though u'r the one sitting on it.

Janey friend always has special treatment from all of us.

met manda for a shopping trip!
its been long since we last met up and spend time tgt.
hahas. of coz created some damage but who cares, just well that i got the urge to spend.
after which xian came to join us and the 3 of us shopped till all the shop closes.haha
chatted along the way home and that's when we realized we've known each other for about 5 yrs! amazing!

fri
met with manda early morning to company her for some errands and shopping.
it seemed like we havent had enuff the previous night.
met up with the good old abn friends for a "reunion dinner" (they called) at night.
its great seeing them and i bet there are more gatherings to come still.

omg! the day janey friend,xian,ces & i have been looking fwd to!!

okay. went to catch the play- Design & Life @ Esplanade.
Actually the main purpose was because joseph cheng was in it! LOL.
lim jane heard it from xian and kept bugging me to go with her. (too bad stp couldnt make it)
So as usual, janey n I reached at the eleventh hour, just 1 min before the show starts!
(omg forever creating heart attack.)
both of us were practically screaming inside ourselves whenever he appears!LOL (what's new)
and all of us are still suffering from the hangover of yesterday's show.

and i guess i should STOP splurging as though i'm printing money.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR & HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY, WEISHI!!
2009 the year of ox officially starts today.
2008 seemed like ages ago, even though its only 26 days ago.
until yesterday afternoon, i still do not have the CNY mood.
what i love n dislike bout CNY.
the only thing i dislike bout cny is spring cleaning!!
other than that, i kinda like cny, even though it no longer has that "excitement" like when we were young.
how i miss the childhood cny days, waking up SUPER early and dressing up nicely.
i cant really describe it, but the feeling is just different.
anyway, what hasn't change was that the 1st day of cny is always spent having fun with coussies!
this yr my family were pretty late.. (as usual..but later than usual)
well, it was still as fun as usual. (coussie's house is always filled with gooood fooood)
after which, met up with jialu for a movie before heading home...
sigh..yet another cny has past.
next yr when we meet up for cny,
we'll be older by a yr.
and it will be the year of the tiger!
very soon, i will turn 24 in 2011, which is my year, the year of the rabbit!
if only we were still the 12 yr old rabbits....

its already been almost a month past 2009.
had a long chat wif janey friend juz now.
we were both reminiscing the past.
9 years ago, when we were 13, what were we doing and things like that.
suddenly we felt ourselves pretty old.
18 years old was like 4 years ago?
and the first time i went to her birthday party she was only like 14?
all the old school days,
tampines mall, KFC, seoul garden, pizza hut, to canteen's wanton noodles rtc etc...
it really doesn't seemed like it has been almost 10 years.
and now the fact she's already became an "auntie". (her niece is almost 3 years old!)
we were thinking in future when people start calling us auntie...
i think it wouldn't be far away from now.
we were both feeling pretty sad.
thinking about when u r only 13, what u think about is to complete sec sch,
move on to tertiary education.
Now, we've all past those stage and many of us have already started working.
true, time waits for no man.

Hello peeps, HAPPY 2009!
2008 ended on a relatively good note i should say.
and my last post was posted way back on dec 8.
for the last month of 2008, had my tw trip & enjoyed countdown with the girls.
though 2008 wasnt a really good year for many people, with all the big issues worldwide
coming one after next, i am still thankful for what i had for last year.
At least i had my fair share of fun.
From graduating in March to HK trip in Aug, TW trip in Dec and attending loads of 21st Birthday celebrations. It was all these moments that makes life more interesting.
and have you realised that 2008 went past so quickly? so fast that we didnt even have time
to stop by and realise what's happening.
stepping into 2009, i don't expect it to be too good as i kinda feel that the bad aura from last yr is brought forward to the new yr.
well, maybe we shldnt be so pessimistic, afterall its a brand new year!
We cant do anything but just hope for the best. let's see what's in store for us.

just a little update!
im so broke this month!!
apart from August, end November to December is always the most extravagant month of the year!
so many things to buy, birthdays and parties to attend!
nevertheless, its also the best time of the year!
because Christmas is nearing! the only festive season to give and receive presents!
the past 2 weeks were pretty happening!
first it was meisin's 21st party (mom if u're reading this u havent sent us any pics!!!),
then watched beverly hills chihuahua with the HK-gang on friday just before STP left for HK the next day. its been 5 months can u believe it?
janice's back from sydney!
met up with the girls on sat!
she bought us some great gifts!
jialu xian and i decided to visit her next winter in sydney!
WITH ACCOMODATION PROVIDED!! (hahas alrights im cheappo)
apart from that, its so fun to bunk in with them, hanging out in another country!
and yesterday, finally met up with the MIA janey friend..
she's still as BLUR as usual... hahas.
funny things always happen when im with these great companies!
xian & i have gone back to the spendthrift days.
we have been eating goood foood and putting on alot of weight!
but its just so hard to get it off once u'r in it again.
im gonna miss so many birthday parties & xmas party this dec!

one thing i've realized...
I've been catching the same movies for at least twice these days. lol.
this week has been a "Sacian week".
watched high school musical 3 AGAIN, this time with JXQ & wendy on thursday.
good thing it was still as entertaining as the first time i watched it.
anyway celebrated mei sin "mum"'s birthday with gingers and fellow sacians yesterday!
time seem to have gone back to the old school days,
where 85 would usually be where we settle our meals.
the yummy food and the awesome company definitely make my day!
everyone planned was present except vaneh!! the coordinator! (bet she was too tired)
anyway, it was an enjoyable meeting
and we've talked about plans for the up coming new year count-down cum overseas trip next yr!
and of coz noel-gin's 21st party next month.
one interesting note on how much we've changed over the past 2 years.
it was kinda hilarious looking at a pic of ourselves at the 2006 countdown as compared to now.lol
definitely, 21st is a new beginning for all of us!
and hopefully with this new beginnings, things will work out well for all of us from now on!

i've just did a major spring cleaning on my blog!
just before i decided to delete off those inactive links,
i've done a last headcount and there's about a 120 of them!
omgosh.
after an hour of tedious "cleaning",
i guess there's only about half of them left! LOL
Great achievement!
it was kinda happening over the weekends.
sat, wendy treated xian and I to Madagascar 2 as she's gt tics to the private screening!
we were all entertained by the show and the free popcorns! haha.
after the show, got a ride from wendy again to ubi. Thanks girl!
xian and i decided to give STP a "surprise pop-by" UNDER her house and gave her a call.
LOL. chatted on the phone for awhile and we left.
decided to shed some fats yesterday and did some excersise.
infact, i do not feel any different except having aches all over thanks to the badminton game!
it was real tiring!!
i guess i will stick to cycling in future. (though it doesnt really help)

yo0ho0 finally its holiday!
a long weekend indeed.
and for the first time after so long,
i can finally stay at home and DO NOTHING!
watched High School Musical 3 with wen & shi on friday night,
it was awesome!
the songs were great, extravagant scenes, it just has everything for a good ending.
i can say that its the best of all 3 installments!
anyway the past 2 weeks were kinda fruitful.
meeting ppl that i havent seen a long time.
went to vivo with leejoan on thursday,
met up with amanda just not long ago,
and movie outings with the gurls.
as usual, they never fail to brighten my day with all their funny stunts.

october is coming to an end,
2008 is just going to end in 2 months time, its been a whirlwind throughout the year.
good and bad, its just 2 more months.
judging by how things are going right now,
i doubt next year would be anything but better.

man, august is moving fast!
today's the last day of august! how sad.
so many happenings this month!
rmb the first day of august we were still travelling to HK.
and now, a month had past.
the last 2 weeks of august was fruitfully spent as well.

i would not hesitate to name yesterday a good-deed day!
all of us were like Samaritans as we all contributed to the good will of society.
i found a "FAT hen"-a PRADA wallet with a stack of $50s and $10s SGD not counting the countless Amex card on the bus at sentosa yesterday.
and i returned to the bus driver and luckily the owner got it back!
i was quite dubious bout the fact if the driver will return it to the owner but LUCKILY he did.
this part i admit i was a little dumb not to even take down the driver's name and contact number in case of some dishonesty which might happened.
the owner called and thank me personally and i felt so great!
yes, pls call me liqin the honest~

stp helped a china woman to her way to lavender as she was lost @ vivocity.
the woman was really hilarious. she looked lost, and her make-up is like geisha.
lol. the worse thing she even fell on train from back to front to back again. knocking into the rest of the people. omgosh.

i enjoyed myself so much yesterday! yes, hanadan movie i'm talking about!
the 3 of us planned to watch it again before it ends! plus, more plans coming up!

I'm on leave today!
i've lost track to when was the last time i've got a full day break.
august is busy like i mentioned before.
and its about to come to an end before i even realized it.
attended amanda's 21st birthday last sat @ bayview hotel.
it was a joyful one. nice food, nice surrounding
now back to the long expired HK trip.
i wanted to blog about it since i came back even though i have not lay
a finger on my photos.
before it starts getting accumulated in my undone list, i think i ought to blog it since i'm kind of free today.

1st August friday: day 1 - STP, our SAVIOR!
the day was not only a rush, but also a mess!!
actually i felt that the whole trip is in a rush.
booking tickets almost last min,
rushing from work to home just before i fly
and what's worse was that there was a flight delay of 45mins!
was late in meeting stp in hk international airport! (can't believe it)
to my greatest fear, my luggage almost went missing.
and it was my sister who recognizes it instead of me.
looking at the flight delay, quoting my sister's words, it seems like fated that stp has to be forever waiting for us.lol she waited for us from 6++pm -around9pm. really sorry for that!
its so sweet of her to get us donuts when we landed!! and hey, the donuts there are heavenly!!
she sure know that we're starving. and i know that she's starving too.lol
futhermore, she escorted us to the hotel, help us check in and went home late for the day.
i cannot imagine where we would land up w/o her. seriously.
we did some late shopping with xian guiding us to ladies street!
but also thanks to her that we lost our way back and needed assistant from a police on duty!
lol. it was cool though. and can u believe that we are still having dessert @ around 2am in the morning before heading to bed? yeps...that ended our day 1 in hk~

2 August Saturday: day 2: Hk's attractions! Ocean Park + the peak!
morning call from stp @ around 8.30am but all of us were still lazing under our comfortable blanket! was supposed to meet stp @ 9.30 @ some station so tt we could get to ocean park in time! not surprised, we were late again! though it was only 3 stops away.lol.
was really excited the moment we reached ocean park! the place was magnificent!
had breakfast and then headed to our first ride, the water ride!
it was DAMN FUN even though we had to queue for almost an hour!
but the wait was worth it.

All Drenched!!

the exact day, we took the most horrifying roller coaster of my life!
i almost thought i could not come back alive.
and know what? i didnt even have my safety belt fastened!
it was only when we were to get down that i realized there's a safety belt.
they were all in shock! LOL.

we also took the ferry's wheel, some viewer thingy and cable car! it was a scary ride for the 4 of us.the funny thing was, we were the only ones who are holding tight to the pole
in the cable car, everyone else was so relaxed.

and i have to mention bout this kungfu panda attraction!!
it was so cute! a mimic of the kungfu panda scenes!
i managed to throw a cookie into the drawer with my first throw!
how great. and stp was harassed by the kungfu guy.lol. it was super hilarious.
the day at ocean park ended with us not being able to see the real panda!!
mind u, the queue is about 2 hours long! how disappointing.

did some shopping @ the famous H&M and then went to the peak!
the scenery is magnificent! its sooo beautiful. u can see the most beautiful sight of hk.
lightings, buildings, the harbour, everything! and of course the mansions of the richest in hk.
and that concluded the 2nd day in hk.

3rd August Sunday:Day 3-Yum Cha, Shopping , Farewell HK and hello Macau
as usual, morning call from stp at 8++am!
we're going to yum cha with her parents and do some final shopping in hk!
her parents are really nice to host us to some yummy restaurant at grand century plaza(if im nt wrong). the dim sums were DELICIOUS!!! omg, the best i've ever tried.
i love love love the buo luo bao! hahas.
shopping followed by that and everything's so cheappp!!
we called it "Peng" hahahas.
we started our "peng" craze and started buying non-stop.
as u know, good times are always short.
we went back to hotel to collect our luggage and stp sent us to the ferry terminal as we head to macau.
the 3 days were filled with fun, laughter and excitement.
even the min before departing to macau, there was a funny episode.
we queued at the wrong lane, which was supposed to be for people departing to
Zhu Hai (some part of china) lol. and finally, when we thought that that's our final goodbye
to stp, the person told us that macau is at the other lane.
all of us almost fainted at that moment.
and looking at the adjacent lane, there was NO queue!
not even a single soul.
and so, we really left for macau, yes, RELUCTANTLY!

Dream come true~
on HK street with STP at her hometown!

Macau Summary.
reached macau at around 8, was stranded on the street, it was messy, no cab,
and gt conned by the taxi driver. reach a grand-looking hotel, thought that everything was
finally good, sense something amiss but still stayed on, felt unwell the next morning,
had a relatively filling breakfast, drag our fatigue bodies to the Venetian, headed to the airport HAPPILY(and gt conned again which we thought was the very last time), but no, swallowed some nonsense that cost us HKD250!!! much more than a Macdonald's meal which could be considered as emperor's food to us at that point of time. took the flight HAPPILY back to Singapore and promised never to go there again!
reached SG the following day and was really relived that we're finally back HOME!
we were all jumping like some insane when we saw the "Welcome Home" sign at the immigration. Thank God we're home! my gosh.

yesterday was bitter sweet.
sent janice off to auss in the morning wif xian, jialu n her friend.
of coz, it was not easy to say goodbye.
after all, we've never been so far apart since secondary sch??
after that,met up wif my darling juniors gwendozz n lengzz!

went cycling @ ecp, we were simply racing with the weather.
though it was a short few hours,
it was more than enuff to put us all to sleep.

it was great!

my last post was actually 2 weeks back!
i admit that I've been really lazy recently.
to the extend of not coming online on a daily basis.
i guess everyone is busy with their own stuff now be it sch or work.
its really hard to get everyone together.
do the things we used to do.
im missing those times!
esp during school holidays, planning activities and hanging out with one another.
now, we even got to take some time to consider whether or not its worth to even taking a day off work.
anyway, was at work yesterday, facilitating some camp which happened to be in SAC.
it was so random.
the girls now are so much privilege than us.
sch was definitely so much fun now than back then.
what really impress me was how intelligent and creative these girls were.
its something beyond imagination.
and looking at them now makes me feel the effect of aging.
as much as i wanted to keep myself hyper the whole day,i'm already like half dead at the middle of the day.
really could not keep up with the energy level of these young ones.
sigh..this is such a sad post.
i wish that i could re-live the time where we dont have to worry bout anything again.
anyway on a happier note, lee joan and i did manicure today!

a week had past!
its been a busy week!
aviva 2008 has ended yet another year.
its been our 4th year there! omg..cant believe it.
my aviva craze ended yesterday aft gade lost the match in the semis.
which happened last year as well. sighh. SAD!!
but it was a fufiling day!!
yesterday was packed from morning to past mid-nite!
collected my parcel, ran some errands, rush to aviva with a happy mind (but return home with a sad heart), lastly celebrated jialu's 20th birthday with her.
BUT!! I'VE TAKEN A PICTURE WITH GADE!! LIKE FINALLY!! ITS A DREAM COME TRUE!!
i considered myself super lucky for that. i ALMOST missed him again.
it was damn random, just when we thought that everything was over,
something striking caught my eye!! its him!! i told janey friend.
and i was still hestitating whether to go fwd or not [since he lost his match he must be feeling horribly sad =( ] but like friend said, NOW OR NEVER.

alright, a week had past
and its time for some updates!
the past week has been really fatigued!
and eventually i was down with sore throat on friday (how well, just before the week ends)
had some issues at work, hopefully it will all be good from now on.
nonehteless, good things happened too!!
i had swensens ice cream twice!!
so i ate a total of 7 different flavours of ice cream in 2 days! YUMMY~
but that's not really the main thing that i wanna share.
okay, ready for some excitement?? i FOUND MY PRIMARY SCHOOL BAND CAMP FRIEND MS JANE LEE JIE YING!!
we sat beside each other, play the same instruments, same parts,
probably ate and slept beside each other and oh yar probably share the same score/file.LOl
its just soooo random i swear!
and fortunetly, we've been working together in the same office for my past 1 and a half month there. HOW GREAT~
it was until thursday that we found out that we were band camp mates! (thanks to her)
imagine, we only met each other 9YEARS ago, for just that 3 days 2 night camp in my school.
and 9 years down the road you found each other.
sounds drama huh?? haha.
yep, it wont be another 9 years before we see each other again. im sure we'll maintain contact from now on!

Graduation 2008!
Its the season of Graduation!!
Had been running around since thurs to graduations aft graduations.
went to jialu & janice's grad @ TP on thurs saw pf,eng lee & brenda as well!!, Fri morning to meisin's at TP and finally, my own grad during the afternooon!
Finally, we've all officially graduated from NYP!
yesterday was the last time im gonna see my friends in school.
I would say that its a relief for many of us,
to have finally completed the 3 yrs of poly.
3 yrs just gone in a blink!
i still rmb the fear of going to school on the first day of orientation,
and trying to adapt to my new cls.
i really like slacking thru yr 1, having ccas and always trying out the "1st times" with my clsmates. it was so much fun~
yr 2 came tep which i gt to know more friends and the hectic yr 3 just by-pass like that.
i rmb how we hated projects and staying up till the next day to complete our work.
looking back, seriously, i have no idea how we could manage to do that!
okay, so the cls of 2008 is officially being "cleared" from NYP.
somehow it seems like everything will move on from there,
u never know if u will be able to see ur friends from there,
will u still be as close as ever.
cant help, but i do feel a tinge of sadness.
but i guess, even if this happens, its kind of meant to be.

been real busy since wednesday!
it was a last min trip to ubin wif jane,jolin and her friend.
kinda fun but tiring!!
the mosquitoes in ubin are seriously "dumb" and inactive.
but well-fed~!
the day was spent with walking, walking and more walking.
slept at around 4am (all becuz of bridge) and woke up at 8 to catch the ferry back at 9 for my performance!
was dead tired by then.

have been running around non-stop for errands and to concert hall for rehearsal.
didnt manage to take alot of pics as my phone was already dying by the time i reached VCH.
horrible mistake for not charging it the previous day.

10 mins on stage was really short! before u realize, its oredi over.
but still, the satisfaction is there when ppl came up to u and tell u "thank u for playing abba " & congratulating us for putting up a good performance.

took off our favourite horoscope show yet AGAIN, this time even better
w/o informing us.
guiz n i owaes watch ch 49's horoscope show...on a daily basis!!
now they juz took it off and will only be showing on wedz n thurs.
like muz well dun show.
guiz n i were damn pissed n we sent in our complain letter.

i am utterly disappointed with the management of channel 49 & channel 56 for the inconsistency of the program being scheduled. when i first heard that channel 49 is going to cease transmittion, i was shock as i have been a loyal viewer of the show 开运万事通. and until then, u made such a big hoo-ha about the show being moved to channel 56 and even to the extend of a press conference to announce your plans. first reason u given was viewership rate, then u made us wait, and gave us hope that the show will be continued on a new channel. when its finally shown, the frequency of the show is already lesser than previously. and now u dash our hope by removing the show without any good reason or even informing us. not even with the plan of shifting it to a good timing. is that the value u want to provide to ur customer?? do u know we waited whole day to 11pm just to watch the show? the show is not complete if it is not shown on a daily basis. and i hope scv will give us a good reason as we pay to watch the show! at least, this show. thank you.

Guiz's complain letter

i am irritated by the program schedule that scv have been frequently updating and changing. within less than a month after have been showcast on channel 56, the frequency of it on tv have since shrink down to only having it shown on wednesday and thursday. previously was because of the closing down of the channel now it is the shrinkage of the frequency, does it mean that slowly you will red.
i really hope you will facilitate this concern and firmly make a decision regarding this matter and not fool us consumers round and round when you mention on channel 56 previously that is coming up and then again you have just reduce the frequency of the show.

and the word limit for the whole thing is only 1500.
ahhahas the column is so SMALL.
so guiiz n i was thinking of complaining again!!

its been sometime since results day!
time passes so quickly but im still slacking though.
anyway had some gatherings recently,
which i thought was really meaningful to be able to catch up wif my friends.
met noel the other day! we had real fun enjoying our tai-tai life. LOL
its been months since i last saw her n really enjoyed her company.
we played scrabble for hours at a cafe and had healthy food!!
we started with only "name-tag" it was so random!! i swear"

and ended finishing using all the letters!

plus, i luv yami yogurt!! =)
this week has ended with 3 major meet ups so far..
met shi for lunch before the emrs chalet wif pretty & the rest~(which i saw jumbo cards 1st time in my life! and i won mahjong on my 1st trial against the other experts, incredible!).
of coz ice-skating wif wendy & ken today!
its really cool to hang out wif ur sec 1 gang.
and they nv fail to make me laugh wif all their silly actions.
juz see wad ken has done at the middle of the road...
moral of story, nv walk wif ur eyes close. u nv know when u'r going to step on some nails.
really got to take my hats off that girl..

n this is the 1st time ken drive me around since she gt her lisence almost 2 yrs back.
yep, so ken just refuseee to get her butt on the ice..
therefore left wif 2 clueless sheeps to help ourselves on ice.
it was kinda fun though, but wld be more fun if we noe hw to skate!
the day ended on a tiring note but fun note.

poly life officially comes to an end.
cant help but think of the days that went by these 3 years.
1st day of poly still stays in my head vividly.
and the date as well. 18 of april.
many of u muz be shocked by now..like omg u still rmb tt??
actually im the kind who tends to rmb some "insignificant" details than the big ones.
hahas so yeah..i still rmb how the 1st day goes!!
and i thot, gosh i guess im going to hate this cls.
hahas. but not so aft 3rd day of orientation. becuz we had fun!
and i began to like this funny cls of BM0508 as the days went by. and eventually, i love this cls! lol. like wad jacklyn told me, yr 1 is gonna be like a honeymoon period. much so..
i will nv forget sawhui being my 1st friend in poly.
and hw depress we were when we know we werent in the same specialisation.
1/2 of my yr 1 cls went to service, about 2/4 of the rest to HR, 3 to retail(which includes me!!)
and 2 to crm~ seeee. i rmb! =)
2nd yr of poly seems to be a new beginning for many of us.
some started wif TEP then classical, while my cls is the opposite.
im kind of thankful for that.
as i get to know my clsmates first before going to tep, which made alot of things easier!
but tt was the worse sem of my poly life as well.
that was the 1st time i had the thot of giving up.
results, projects even had problems during my elective module..
practically hate everything in that sem. esp the modules
wanna noe how badly ive done?
1B+ 3Cs and 3 Ds. and a gpa from 2.97 to 2.606(will nv ever forget) yep,congrats!
i will nv forgive myself for that sem.
then came tep, which was the best slacking time ever in poly.
even though its kind of wasting time, but it was fun.
and gt to know this grp of friends whom im still in contact with...
and eventually became my banluck mates.
yr 3 was spent worrying over hectic projs , meeting deadlines and of coz the
nv-will-wan-to-rmb IPP.
finally, results for final sem is out.
disappointing.
didnt do as well as sem 1, dats one
but nt becuz i haf high expectations ( i noe where i stand)
but becuz i feel tt sem2 we spent more times committing in projs n i hope there wld be a better return. but noooope.
esp entre F***.
anyway, many things to be done
and life still goes on from here.

went for dental checkup yesterday ..
thot was some cavities initially but NO!
its the growth of 4 wisdom tooth!
1 is bad enuff and i got ALL 4!
WTF!
they are giving me quite a big problem now.
headaches tt no amount of sleep will help
toothache..
swelling of my gums & cheeks..
infection..
and wadeva things u can think of.
and i cant enjoy good food now.
horribly painful experience.
did an xray yesterday and saw the 4 tooth almost fully grown.
looks like its a must to remove them.
and dats wad im most afraid of.

the initial injection will still be painful right!
but to cure this prolong headache and all the pain,
i guess is betta for me to undergo the surgery.
i juz hope they knock me out before removing the tooth for me.

its been a great weekend!
spent the 2 days wif coussie n we had fun!
had band prac on saturday morning & then lunch wif my girls and met wif coussie & jia lu at nite.
band prac was alright, sounded better than the week before,except for that unexpected phototaking session when everyone's nt dressed well & prepared.

it was another night of food hunting.
my dieting effort for the past few days had gone to waste TOTALLY!
thanks to the heavenly sushi tei & fondue at haagen dazs.

been happily slacking for exactly 9 days already.
yes, aimlessly slacking.
havent been thinking about what i want to do.
but i think its high time for me to leave my comfort nest and start hunting for a job.
actually i've tonnes of plans in my mind!
however, all of these needs $$!
i want to be independent!
i think its time for me to take my first step to independence.
by 21, i hope i can be fully independent and stop getting allowance from my parents.
hahas! good to be ambitious yeah?
lets see,studies aside, there's alot of things that i want to do.

1.learn driving
2.overseas trips wif friends
3.FUN outing with band gurls (yep i promised them since i graduated 4 yrs ago.)
4.learn skating
5.perhaps learn piano

tentatively these are my top 5 priorities.
but now, the big prob is, what shld i do??
i seriously do not know what i can work as.
something that can earn me a reasonable income, fun, easy but not boring, dun have to get scolded by customers, easy-going colleagues and will keep me motivated to go to work everyday.
sounds too much right.
man, its bothering me now!!
but wad to do? cant be staying at home all time though i would like to.
anyway, juz gt back frm a gathering wif wen ganesan & my sis.
yeah short but cool.
rainy seasons are my fav time to sleep!
n i am really like a snake who's having a winter break.

CONGRATS!! NO MORE PROJECTS, TUTORIALS, EXAMS AND WADEVA CRAP!
we've all graduated !!! that's what everyone's waiting for.
anyway, i've decided to reopen my blog to public.
hahas (of coz, some post which were nt meant to be shown are made private)
becuz i feel tt its time for a NEW beginning!
yes, no more the timid old me. (ehh.nt to say things too early)
i'll juz take whatever that comes along now
no matter where i will eventually end up sch, work or wadeva,
its juz not going to be the same!
anyway, since tuesday, i've been busy running around for gatherings.
hahas apart from the only break on thurs, the other days were spent fruitfully wif my friends.
movie & last cls gathering on tues, banluck session at shaun's hse & dinner wif chu & char on wedz, movies wif joan & wendy on fri n band this morning!
guess wad?? band's back to my life!
i knew this day wld come. and im kind of yearning for it since yr1?
rmb all the rantings n uncertainties back then??
sort of regret for being such a loser at times.
anyway, since there's some lost, there bound to be some gain as well.
the gained experience, opportunities & to understand the part & parcel of life.
great to see my juniors once again, the same old clarinet section
which make the most noise in band,
laugh the loudest and all the old jokes.
hahas kinda ironic though.
rmb leaving in buckets of tears..now back with tonnes of laughters.
yeah so..decided to join the sac alumni band to be part of the concert on 3rd april.
whether to make up for the lost of these 3 yrs, gain back confidence, or to make up for the lost opportunities im nt sure.
but the feeling of playing my instrument again is magic!
becuz it makes me feel im of some use afterall.

tuesday is the last paper!
exctied? to a certain extend.
from end of projs & presentation till today,
its been a good 1 week! (exactly)
and then, have been mugging for 2 papers
which was done by yesterday.
HOW FAST!
been whining since january bout why others can graduate so early
now its our turn to grad.
there were hard times, but looking back, its not that hard afterall.
hmm. still wanna say a big thank you to my cls BM0525.
though nothing seems to be good initially.
its been really enjoyable wif u ppl arnd,
joking in cls..
really enjoyed esp during times when i feel our cls unity in a way or another.

wow! its been such a long time since i last updated.

okay i noe im 10 days LATE!
hahas. New year's over long ago.
new year, new beginning, new look forwards!
honestly i've been waiting for 2008!
i bet it wld be an awesome year.
firstly, i will turn 21 in 2008.
coincidentally, my birthday will fall on a nice date which is 080808.
its a once in a lifetime date!!
thridly, IM GRADUATING FROM POLY THIS YEAR!
never imagine that time would pass so fast.
and i thank everyone whom i've met in poly and go through this important stage of my life tgt.
good times and bad times in 2007, all gone!
it shall not be brought over to my dearest 2008.
i shall make this year a fufiling and good one.
i hope u guys too.
havent set any new year resolution, as i've totally slip them off my mind.
but one thing hasnt change, im still as lazy as ever.
hopefully i will get some motivation and work harder this year.

every single week there's work bound to be due.
exam timetable's out. 4 march 08 is the last paper!

HAPPY BOXING DAY!!
2007 is coming to an end.
HOW FAST!
i rmb, we were still grumbling year 2 take ages to end..
becuz of TEP.
now. its about the end of year 3. we're GRADUATING soon!
been contemplating wad i shld do aft tt.
afterall, im gonna be 21 soon.
time to take full responsibilities of myself and repay our parents for
all these 21 years of hardship taking care of us.
but,seem like im still not ready to step out to the society and embark on my own journey.
kinda sad though..i wanna be independent!
still, am looking fwd to 2008 as i guess it wld be a better year??
but again, im 21! man..i hope i could turn back time and live as 2 years old forever.
been a busy 2 weeks and an spendthrift 2 weeks!
spent about $218.45 since 15 December (amt as at 24th of december!)
omg...how scary! its only about 2 weeks?
all the presents, gatherings, dinner and stuff like tt.
this xmas is the most expensive i swear.
probably most of us has reach the age of 20, all "adult" in a sense.
loads of gatherings n parties to attend!
went to joyce's chalet on the 20th, MBS gathering 22nd & celebrations wif GFs on the 24th. its all alternate if u realised. hahas.

1st time going to town for celebration, yet the LAST time.we swear.
i guess singapore government shld ban the irritating spray can since its nothing new to them for banning things in Singapore.
conclusion: NEVER go to town on Xmas eve.

we were walking down the street n this grp of BGL suddenly came to us spraying that toxic thing. xian gt sprayed the most. it was so bad tt everytime anyone wif spray cans on their hand or BGL walked near us we feel shivers down our spine.

friday was a pleasent outing with my girls!
to celebrate char's belated birthday and jialu's last day of attachment.
the fact is that the satisfactions gained from the usual outing is beyond words.
unfortunately, we didnt get to the ben & jerry's at dempsey hill.
the next suggested outing is however, on the 15 of dec!
this time full attendance wif janice around!! yays!

went swimming wif manda this morning!
it was so much fun.
though its only for a short while..
but it seemed lyk so long to us..
and to think that i've actually not tanned enuff,
i realised tt im like lobster now.
school was boring as usual..
and projects are oredi giving us headaches.
things doesnt seem to go as well like previous sem..
or are we expecting too much?
anyway, im supposed to like go back to Han's to collect my last cheque..
